The start of my idea

All through my research I have been intrigued with the design and architectural side to the development of Bournville. I have been fascinated with how it was all specifically designed with a purpose  and every detail was thought about from the houses and buildings to the parks and the tree's. For my project I would like to be able to make my own city/village with a more modern view than Bournville. I am undecided whether to make my city/village as a 3D model, plans and blueprints or something more technical such as 3D images.

I liked the idea of a maze like design for the city/village as even though it looks like nothing can get in it is more about that the purity of the city/village is kept in.

I looked more specifically at re-designing Bournville. A social area would be in the middle with lots of lakes, rivers etc running outwards from it. I wanted the homes to be spread out a lot with lots of green areas. It would be very spacious, green and clean.

The buildings would be very simple and neat. I want everything to look very natural in the city/village even the buildings.
